Being a part of an active service club can be rewarding in several ways.
As a Naches Lion you will have the opportunity to serve your community in whatever capacity you are comfortable with. We need people with talents and interests in many, many areas.
- - Do you like to work with your hands?
- - Carpentry, electrical, plumbing?
- - How 'bout delivering hospital equipment for injured or invalid neighbors?
- - Are you an organizer or a leader?
- - Like to work with kids, or senior citizens?
- - Or just pitch in and help with things like Sportsman's Days, or decorating the town, collecting newspapers, etc.
Do you have ideas for what you'd like to see done in our community?
It feels really good to bring a smile to someone's face! Or to see a community betterment project completed.
In cooperation with regional and international Lions organizations, we have professional development training available to help our members learn valuable skills in leadership, business procedures, and personal betterment.
And, just as important, it's a lot of fun to plan, work, and laugh along with a great bunch of men and women who also love their town and their neighbors.
